  • Wow

Looks like my streak of xanga consistency has ended - so let's start a new one.

It's been a wicked long time since I've posted, over a month. Anyways, in December I got my first car - a Chevy Malibu. That was probably the highlight of the month. Christmas has come and gone - and New Years is tomorrow. I'm looking forward to 2009, I'm planning to read the entire Bible in the year. Hopefully I won't blow it like I have before. Anyways, the last week has been extraordinarily eventful, and yet very expensive. I really need to stop spending money - because I just don't make that much money at the YMCA. Oh well, I love that job. I don't have too much to say right now. Going to bowling "practice" in an hour and then watching the Oregon / Oklahoma State game at Lee's house. He's really excited for it - and I'm just watching it to see Erin Andrews.

But yeah, tomorrow is New Years Eve, Nate Brandon and I are hanging out, drinking Mountain Dew, and watching that arse-hole motorcycle dude make a fool out of himself for the 2nd straight year. Should be lots of fun.

    cya later!

  • Been A While

Well it's been a couple days since I've posted. Actually it might have been a week - but I'm not sure. Anyways, this week has been just splendid. Monday-Wednesday was school which was a breeze - especially Wednesday, we just took club&superlative pictures all day. After that we had a bowling match vs. Penn Hills, which we actually won! Even though we played their JV team because we had no chance of beating their Varsity, but still - a win is a win. Thursday was thanksgiving, so we played our annual turkey bowl which was the best one ever - then the grandparents came over and we played some wii and ate and then played tripoly, of course Erin won, because she always wins at poker. After that erin and I went to the movies w/ some people from church, saw Four Christmases, which wasn't too bad, but not great. Then today rolled along and I played some basketball w/ Nick and Clint in the morning and then had to go to work, which wasn't bad because hardly any kids were there - and the ones that were there were mainly up in the gym playing basketball, so I left early then the night of bowling began. First me and my family went at 8:30, and bowled 2 games which took us nicely to 10 when the rest of the crew showed up and we bowled from 10-12, Zem and I were on one lane so we got like 10 games in. ahah, bunches of fun. My wrist is worked now though. Tomorrow I have to work in the morning, sadly, but hopefully it'll be dead there again. Anyways, I've been running low on money lately, so I gotta cut back on spending - and hey, I just got paid 39 minutes ago! So there's an extra 170 bucks in the bank. I take what I can get, ya know?

On another note, I finally slept in today for the first time in seemingly weeks. Slept til 11 which felt glorious, even though I woke up all sweaty - HATE when that happens, does that happen to anyone else? I swear I could be sleeping in like 5 degree weather and I'd still sweat while I was asleep. Weird how the body works. Now I'm just typing for the sake of typing, and that never leads to anything good. So I'll cya later, xanga.

  • Quick Update

Hey guys, well it's friday evening and I'm getting ready to leave for Semi in a couple minutes, but I decided to make a quick post about my week. Wednesday was the feature day of the week. We had our first bowling match - lol - which was a joke because we got butt raped and lost by like 350 pins. I did, however, manage a team high 181, which felt good. After that Clint, Chris, and I went down to steve 'n barry's for the last time :( and then hit up fox's for [free] pizza. Yesterday not much happened, and tonight, as previously mentioned, is semi. I should have oodles of pictures of tonight or tomorrow morning or whatever, so I hope you're excited for that . ANYWAYS, time to suit up. Peace.

  • "It's Not Poison, Its Got Juice In It"

Well here I am, sitting in front of my beautiful iMac writing on Xanga at 10:11 PM. I didn't want to be home this early, but whatever. I don't really remember when I made my last post, but it was probably before Thursday so we'll go from there. Alright well there's nothing to tell about thursday, not that there is anything to ever tell about my life, but yesterday was possibly the worst day at work I have ever had. There were so many kids there, which is becoming an occurring theme since youth football season ended. I was the only person there to deal with them, and it was not fun, at all. It was the longest 4 1/2 hours I've experienced for as long as I can remember. Anyways, this morning at work was better, obviously, but still bad because there were these 2 boys in there for like 2 hours and I really wanted to go up to the gym and shoot hoops (with the other kids... just so this doesn't make me sound like I wasn't doing my job), but they just stayed in there and were really boring for seriously like 90 minutes. It's the small things in life that can really get under your skin and bug you. Anyways, I'm hoping bossman Jason doesn't read this. Why would he though? Does anyone? So anyways, I came home after work, went to get a haircut, then was home from like 3-7, which wasn't fun because my mom was in a bad mood (mostly mom... which she most usually is on Saturdays), so she made my afternoon no fun. After all that got through, I had a delicious steak dinner and went to the mills with Lee and Mitch to see Role Models for the 2nd time in 5 days. Love that movie. Now I'm just sitting here typing away wondering how many words per minute I can type on this keyboard, and if it's more or less than on a school keyboard, because I seem to make a lot of errors on this keyboard, but I can get going pretty fast if I get in that groove. I'm gonna go test it out on freetypinggame.net, I'll let you know the results ;). Tomorrow I'm going to the Steeler game w/ Nick [for the 2nd week in a row], so I'll be missing NRG again, which doesn't really bother me. Call me crazy. Oh well. Peace out.

    Have a nice day everyone.

  • 4 Good Days

Ah, it's Monday morning and I finally got to sleep in. I've slept past 7:00 probably like 3 times since summer ended, so I'd say the last 2 mornings have been nothing short of fabulous. The weekend has been non stop fun as well, well not non-stop, Saturday morning was pretty lame. Anyways, here we go! Short recap for me to read in 20 years.

Friday : Senior skip day, even though I went to school anyways, it was a lot of fun actually. It's nice not having a bunch of people there. Especially those pesky Jenereaux twins . After school Clint, Nick, Zemba, Greg and Pish came over and we played some 3-on-3 basketball before I went to work. After work I went over to stewart and played some hockey, and then Lemon, Gezo, and I went to A&W for some food. After that, we made our weekly travel to the bowling alleys for 2 hours of bowling fun. Ah, yes.

Saturday : Woke up early to go to Grove City for a computer science information thing, which was pretty lame. After that my father and I stopped at the outlets to eat and go to a couple stores, which was pretty fun, there's a lot of stuff up there ;). I came home and died on the couch for a couple hours, then Mitch came over and we went to church and then to the school play, which was really really entertaining. After the play a couple of us went to Kings and then came home.

Sunday : Since I went to church Saturday night, I finally got to sleep in Sunday. I slept til about 10:20, which isn't even that long but it sure felt grand. Nick so graciously offered me a ticket to the Steelers game, so we went to that. Our seats were Club seats, so we could go inside if we got to cold, which I did a couple times. The game was rough, a couple of mistakes led to a tough loss, but I love the Colts so it didn't hurt too bad. I was glad to see that douchebag steeler fan get shown up by the colts fan behind him too. some people just go to far, oh and he said Peyton Manning "stunk" which ticked me off - because he most certainly does not "stink". ANYWAYS! After the game Nick and I came home, grabbed a [free] pizza from Fox's (thanks Clint) and watched the Eagles / Giants game. After Nick left I instantly fell asleep on the couch as I so often do these days, so I decided it was time to go to bed.

I woke up early this morning for some reason, about 8:30, so I've been up for awhile. My mom is sick so she didn't go to work so I can't MAX chill right now, but I can still chill at a decent rate. Anyways, I'm off to play hockey in a little bit then I gotta work at 3:30.

    CYA LATER.

What's up ladies and gentlemen of facebook SLASH Xanga. Today is election today, and I have patriotically cast my vote. It was quite an experience - well not really, but it was fun, no less. The lady was like "ARE YOU VOTING??" when I walked in... like YEAH lady, I am voting. Then she handed me some McCain flyers and I like winked at her. So yeah, I guess Barack has a big advantage in Pennsylvania and is probably going to win it, but that was pretty much expected I guess. Who knows what will happen to America if he's elected - but who knows what's gonna happen to America period, regardless of who's in office. The world is so perverse and so nieve to life that there isn't a person on earth who could run a country completely successfully. Anyways, the last couple days have been tiring, yet fun. It was another pretty solid weekend. Friday was work, of course, but then we went and played hockey with the sophomores, and then went bowling YET AGAIN. Saturday, I worked again, but then went out to dinner with my sister and went to a movie w/ Nate Chelsey and her friend Elena. Sundayyy was pretty boring, but that's how Sunday's are supposed to be. Monday I worked, and finished up my weekly 3 out of 4 days working, and now I'm just chilling on the computer, exhausted, typing until one of my parents gets off a TV so I can truly relax. I have a ton of stuff I should be doing, like finishing some college applications, working on notecards for this research paper, and there's probably a couple other things I could be doing constructive now too, but I'm not, and frankly that's alright with me right now. I think I'm just gonna sick and stare aimlessly into this beautiful computer screen and listen to some Flobots political rap for the rest of the night - until I pass out and crawl my way upstairs and do my life all over again - Wednesday style. Alright well that's all I can muster. Peace.

  • Cold Cereal

You know when you are unbelievably hungry, but there is nothing to eat that's easy enough to make, so you just make yourself suffer and either don't eat at all, or settle for something less than what you want? Why do we do that to ourselves? I'm starving and I just inhaled a huge bowl of Wheaties because I didn't have the desire to put the chicken parmesan in the microwave and stir it a couple times - wow. Heat-up dinners are for work anyways, not worth eating them at home. So yeah, I sacrificed a good meal for laziness, and I will probably end up sacrificing a good grade on tomorrow's Physics test for it as well.

I meant to start studying (with the book I actually brought home) about 40 minutes ago, and then I was gonna study til 8:15 or so when I would turn on the world series or the Suns game, but that didn't happen.

Instead, I got all caught up watching iCarly, which is the dumbest show on TV, and yet I always end up watching it episodes at a time. That part of me will probably never leave, watching kids TV shows. I am not afraid to admit I am very resentful towards Jamie Lynn Spears for getting pregnant just for the fact that Zoey 101 isn't on anymore. I mean that was a great show, and most of you will agree with me. Well I know Lee won't because he always makes fun of me and Zemba when we talk about Drake & Josh.

ANYWAYS, yesterday was an interesting day at home. I ended up getting in an argument with my parents (a surprisingly calm, intelligent, one at that) about my grades and my lack of work-ethic and all this junk. I kinda just aimed to make them feel bad for me, which normally doesn't work and is kind of immature for me to do, but it happens and it's over and cool now. My dad was impressed when he saw that big UNIVERSITY PHYSICS book sitting by the stairs, awaiting to be studied [for probably the first time ever].

Now I'm just sitting here blogging and listening to SecondHand Serenade while I dread starting to study for Physics. I mean, c'mon, I'm the only one in that class who is going to study for it, but I really need to, because I really blew all of the tests in the first quarter (but thanks to big Grantz I ended up with an 88 in there anyways). But ANYWAYS, no one really cares about this stuff right?

  • Change

I am sitting here watching my Rays blow game 4 to the Phillies, which is bad news because they have to face Cole Hamels (the Phillies ace) on Tuesday, so that's automatically a rough game to win. Most of you care about baseball anyway, so let's move on. After NRG tonight, Matt, Nate, Bethany, and I went to Kings for some ice cream, which was a lot of fun. We talked about some interesting things. I have been going to Pittsburgh East all of my life, and going to NRG (the youth group thing there) since it began, like 5-6 years ago. It has changed so incredibly much since this time. It had been changing for the better for so long, and it was really awesome over summer, that was probably the best it's ever been. I don't know, it's probably just me, but the last couple months it's seemed like it's taken a step backward. Again, I probably shouldn't write this stuff up here for all of you to see (I'm just assuming A COUPLE people read this), but like I said, this stuff is probably just me. I mean the people there are 180 degrees different than they were just a few months ago, and that's not a bad thing at all. The people there are great people who are really there for the right reasons (at least most of them), but I guess they just aren't my style. Or, more likely, I just have a bad attitude and take the worst out of people, which again, is a terrible personal problem I have. I might really resent writing this stuff, but I'm just gonna keep going - again, not like anybody reads this (or cares what I have to say). God is amazing and has changed my life so much through that church and that youth group - but maybe he's just preparing me to move on, because I won't be there for much longer if I go away to college. That could be part of it, but I think I just really need to work on my own attitude and my own relationship with God and other people to get it back to where it used to be, and hopefully even better.

Anyways, if you are reading this right now I figure you are 1 of 3 people:

    1) The person who goes to Burrell - in this case, you have no clue what I'm talking about and probably think I'm a big weirdo - which is fine with me.
    2) The person who goes to PECC and likes me - in this case, you might either be agreeing with me or feeling where I'm coming from, and like that I wrote it
    or
    3) The person who goes to PECC and doesn't like me - in this case, you think I'm a conceited jerk.

It's all the same to me, comment and let me know who reads this ;)

    I love to type.
